Dermal Fillers
Dermal fillers are used for a cornucopia of reasons, such as adding structure to your jaw, diminishing wrinkles, adding volume and fullness to the face and so forth.
The treatment consists of a very fine needle being inserted into the desired area and injecting hyaluronic acid. Since hyaluronic acid is a naturally occurring chemical in the body, adverse consequences are quite uncommon.

FAQ – Dermal
We offer a variety of brands of filler, so there are different levels of pricing and options to pick. If you are unsure which is best, please book in for a consultation with us and we can look at your skin type and assess any other factors, which may mean one brand is better than another.
That is never an issue. If you decide you need more filler during your appointment, we can open another syringe and use more. We will also ensure that before your treatment, we are able to give you our professional opinion of how much is needed to create the look you desire.
Filler is composed of hyaluronic acid, a naturally occurring substance, that increases or restores volume. It also attracts water, so it restores an area that was once there.
Immediately after treatment the area can feel a little sore and sometimes red, as with any injectable. However this doesn't always happen and comes down within a couple of hours. Slight swelling can also happen, but again, this doesn't always happen and will reduce with time.
